
1590s costume made for JMD&Co at Hampton Court Palace as part of the events in 2003 to commemorate the death of Elizabeth I in 1603. The suit of apparel consists of a peascod doublet made from ivory silk damask and matching trunkhose with canions. Worn under a jerkin of tawny velvet with embroidered guards.
